Apparently some of the family who turned up causing trouble wore nomad bikie colors. So i’m sorry to say this, but judging from the behavior of the friends and family, it’s no big loss as far as i’m concerned.
Don’t be sorry–it’s no big loss, period.
But the trend towards tribalism is a bad thing and only going to get worse.
Tribalism is a natural response to a vaccum of cultural solidarity. It may be a marker for a decline of “civilisation” (typically understood as the reach of government) but we’d best embrace it. High minded ideals are no substitute for guns covering your 6 when the S hits the F, which is why Mohammed or the Commancheros will fare a crapload better than the average suburbanite in the times to come.
