‘THE Abbott government could axe the ABC’s Australia Network Asian broadcasting service in the May budget.
Cabinet has discussed ending the public broadcaster’s contract to provide Australian news and entertainment to the region, The Australian reports.’

    I’m reasonably sure he’ll do it, he’s just putting stuff like this to get a feel for the reaction, but eventually they’ll cut them loose, they have to. Thanks to those the left including the ABC fervently supported for the last 5 years, there’s no money left.

    Certainly no money for the ABC to be broadcasting anti-Australian crap to an audience that doesn’t vote and doesn’t pay any taxes.

    In my view, he should gut them further, just deny them funding and then they’ll cut the more useless bits and sections of the ABC off themselves.

    Do it Tony, do it this year, bring on the most painful cuts this year, then you have 2 years to remind the public how much it was needed and who brought this heap of crap on us in the first place.
