      “The Birdman of Bergdahl” most likely will not be tried for treason and desertion by a courts martial and sentenced to death by firing squad as he so richly deserves, but will be promoted, decorated, and given thousands of dollars in back pay by a degenerate federal government.

      Did I mention free medical care for life at the local V.A.? :cry:

      However, the veterans will never forget and they will make Bergdahl’s life a living hell if he decides to stay in the States :!: What happened to John Kerry and Jane Fonda is nothing compared to what will happen to “The Birdman” once he is out of government custody and protection.

      He better have good security and watch his back for the rest of his life.

            Thanks. I have seen little of this in NZ. Has it been established that BB actually deserted? In recent times for good and/or bad a number of those shot as deserters in WW1 have been pardoned on the (nebulous) grounds of their mental state at the time of their alleged deserting. How a dead person’s mental state can be reconstructed a century later is open to debate but as BB is alive it oughtn’t be too much of a task. Just pondering. If I left it all to the msm it would be a pointless conjecture. :?:

    My dad was at bloody Omaha Beach on D-Day and somehow survived without becoming a casualty.

    He said the thing that he would never forget were those damn German MG 42 machine guns that could spit out 25 rounds PER SECOND. The G.I.s called them “Hitler’s zipper” as it fired so fast you couldn’t hear the individual rounds.

    Dad survived the war okay and never even got sick with the flu, but had one hellva case of flash backs for several years afterwards where any loud noise like the backfire of a car or firecrackers going off would make him “hit the dirt.”

        I was just on the plane from Wellington back to Auckland and there were a bunch of young navy boys n girls on the plane (I woulda thought the navy woulda floated rather than flew, but there ya go). Got chatting to the wee girlie in the seat next to me. She nearly fell off the seat when I thanked her for serving!
