Open house

hunter Dawn, today. Hunting into the sun and a cloud of dust kicked up by stampeding cattle. Not the ideal way to do it, but the wind direction dictated the approach to the waterhole.

    • Thanks Mawm. Anything’s better than sitting around doing nothing and hunting is much better than most pastimes. It’s something me and Gecko enjoy doing together, too.

  1. Yes,hunting is much better than Gawlf. That and most folks I know that have retired and decided to sit around haven’t lasted long.”Use it or loose it”a very true expression.

Looking to start Coyote hunting(actually pest control) this coming Fall. The bastards are out of control, the only thing we have left in the woods are Hogs and Coyotes. They have managed to run off or kill all the Deer.

Plus it’s justification for buying a new Burris or Zeiss scope while they are on sale

  5. I just watched a strong left political operator ask “How could the Obama Administration not realise the Bergdahl trade would blow up in their faces?”

The definition of just how incompetent the HBSC and his minions are. Total disconnect from reality.

    • Number one rule of business-The customer is always right.Number two-Know your customers.
The Teller should have known better to even bring up something so petty. The manager should have apologized, profusely.

If I were the Farmer,my money and business would be elsewhere.

      • I find female bank employees and office workers are very good at parroting “policy”. Not so good at using their own judgement.

    • So, what marine beastie has an internal temperature of 78F? And can dive to almost 2,000ft?
It may not have eaten the shark in one hit, but rather torn off the part containing the tag. (?)

    • http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif That’s hilarious! Whodathunk it, eh?
      From the link:
‘However, the country may still push forward with plain packing to placate the growing anti-smoking industry who push for ever more draconian laws even if the rules are of dubious benefit to public health. The industry comprises charities, campaign groups and NHS bodies all employing large numbers of activists…’
Lobbying government at OUR expense, I might add….
