WHAT A WONDEFUL FIND
I hope the cars are restored to their former glory and displayed at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas.
I love the great classic cars, and American cars fron the 50’s. Today’s econojellybeans are boring, disposable appliances.
There are some beautiful cars built today though. The sports wagons are ho-hum in general but some coupes and sedans are stream-lined like whipped creme. I have long had a fondness for German marques (other than BMWs) and it is always a treat to wander about the dealers’ showrooms. Whether any of today’s cars hold the romantic bliss of the big 1950s “Yank Tanks” only the future can decide.
I Rather doubt they will, Cad. But then, somebody back in the 50’s might have said the same thing.
The VW Beetle with its motor in the front isn’t adorable like its forefathers is it?
No.
That collection is worth a ton,but imagine how much more will be spent restoring them
Probably 10x the purchase price. It’d be interesting, difficult work too.
Drool.
Yes indeed!

Beautiful, sad to see them rusting away though. Hopefully they’ll be restored.
