  1. Daniel Hannan on Enoch Powell. (he of the “Rivers of Blood” speech):
‘…This is the man who, as a 17-year-old translating a passage from Bede into classical Greek for his Cambridge scholarship exam, found the task so easy that, to fill the allotted time, he translated it into Platonic, then Herodotean, then Ionic Greek, and then annotated it. This was the youngest professor in the Empire, the youngest Brigadier in the British Army, a master of several ancient and modern languages, the greatest parliamentary orator of his age. ..’

    • Thanks for the link, Mawm. That sure does sound like a lot of shots to take down one person.
They should have let the Army do the job instead of the ninja wannabes. ;-) Oswald Bastable knows a thing or two about police firearms training, and what he knows ain’t encouraging.

      • What astounds me is the deliberate ignorance of people. They still won’t link (p)islam to it and they won’t call him a terrorist , they said he had mental issues….FFS

  2. What you’re looking at here, DT, is a propaganda push worthy of Joseph Goebbels.
And you know what? Most of the audience will fall for it. This is the age of Twitter and Facebook, and rule by the massed opinions of juveniles.

    • Muzzies are perpetual victims even when they murder innocents….I did a spoof of the illridewithyou tripe on FB. I wrote ” Lets ride together muzzies..what can possibly go wrong ” followed by pics of Madrid,London ( train & bus ) and New York. That will get some heads exploding..

Everywhere in this world one looks, just a scratch reveals the evil under the surface. This is all in just one little podunk town, just imagine what the rest of the country looks like

  4. Crude oil continues to fall. Commodity prices in general seem to be on a downtick.
How low will crude go? (Somewhere around $45 would be nice for it to hold for a while.)

    • It will go as low and stay there for as long as is necessary to crush all Western attempts at oil independence from the Middle East. Then the demands for Jizya will rise again.

  5. SR-71 Blackbird is, without a doubt, the most advanced aeroplane ever built in relation to the technology available at the time. It broke all aviation records, it flew incredible missions, and it became the stuff of legend.

The J58 engine, developed in the 1950s by Pratt & Whitney, was designed to operate for extended speeds of Mach 3+ and at altitudes of more than 80,000 feet. The J58 was the first engine designed to operate for extended periods using its afterburner, and it was the first engine to be flight-qualified at Mach 3 for the Air Force.

  6. It looks like our German cousins have launched a new Battle of the Bulge against Islam last night:  15,000 flag waving anti-Muslim marchers :!:

    http://ronbosoldier.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-new-battle-of-bulge-started-today.html

My father fought against the Nazis in the Battle of the Bulge, but I think he’d join me in saying, “Three cheers for German Nationalism :!:

Now let’s see some flag waving anti-Muslim American Nationalism, British Nationalism, Australian Nationalism, New Zealand Nationalism, etc.

    DEATH TO ISLAM :!:

  7. Slaughter in the classroom

Taliban gunmen stormed a school in Pakistan, going classroom to classroom to kill 141 – mainly children – in one of the country’s worst terror attacks.

  8. Young child asks his father-“Daddy,what’s an Elephant?”

Father-“It’s a Mouse designed by the Government”

    • On Monday the U.S. Federal Government takes total control of the Sahara Desert.

On Tuesday it is announced by a government spokesman that the Sahara Desert would be closed until further notice, as there was a sudden shortage of sand.
