Headland Sculpture on the Gulf features 31 outdoor art installations along a 2km stretch of public walkway on Waiheke Island, and was viewed by close to 14,000 people in its opening weekend.’
Too many “artists”, too many of these events are funded by taxpayers. Hell, I’ve met so-called artists who have lived off taxpayer-funded grants for twenty years or more.
If the vandalised works fall into that category, then my reaction to the story is so bloody what.
If an artist needs a government grant he isn’t an artist, he’s a paid political whore.
