On another musical note, if you can get that wind whistling culvert pipe of yours to sound anything like Fred Morrison’s low D whistle, then I’m going to dig up my new drainage and build one…

The culvert pipe gives a deep, snoring note like a didgeridoo, Tamati. But I have an 85mmx 1.5m length of downpipe with slots cut in it and that sounds very like Morrison’s whistle.
Much cheaper than culvert pipe, too.

The pipes organs have been a bit delayed while I build a rifle, but that’s finished now so the next stage is to fit piano strings to the pipes.
    Fingers crossed…………

I always wished I had some sort of artistic talent but that was Medusa’s area. Me, I love to make numbers dance!
