And who seems, in this article, to be dedicated to de-fanging the police and turning them into something more like Britain’s ineffectual lapdogs in blue.
Wabbit has been intensely critical of the police at times, but this academic’s drivel is more than mere criticism of police failings.

    Let’s run that again with some bold-font to highlight the outright deception.

    A few short decades ago editorial standards would have made sure this outright slander never made it to print, and the author would have been politely asked never to submit another piece.

    Keep in mind that this is the same group of progressives that describe the police force as being “conservative in its origins and mostly bigoted and intolerant” are relying on those same bigots to enforce their progressive doctrine at gunpoint.

    The more these guys do to alienate police officers the better. They want to load the force with progressive little girl guides? Just as good.

    We need the stupid to come thick and fast at this point.

    Have you noticed how the msm always try to spin an incident where an idiot tries to speed off from the cops and kills himself? It is generally reported as a death during a police chase no matter whether the police have abandoned the pursuit or not. Then they interview a tear-stained parent who is demanding answers etc. There seems to be an anti-police stance in the msm at present.

      Yep. And according to the parents, their poor wee dope-smoking, boozing teenager was an outstanding student, pillar of the community, loved and respected by his peers and had a dazzling career as a physicist ahead of him…..until the police irresponsibly forced him to drive head-first, pissed and stoned, into a power pole at 3am one day.

          Let the MSM and the progressives piss off the cops. The more the better. Then, when things get ugly, we can remind them who the true friends of law and order are.
