….the ABC’s 7.30 last night implied murder was a big issue only when women were killed. It also misleadingly suggested most murder victims were women:
The truth is very different. From an Australian Institute of Criminology report released this year:
Males continue to be overrepresented as victims of homicide. Of the 511 homicide victims in 2010–11 and 2011–12, 328 were male (64%) and 182 were female (36%…).
..1 third of people killed in domestic violence are male.
Children are also killed in domestic violence, nearly half by their mother…’

Australia’s ABC receives around 1.2 billion dollars of taxpayer’s money annually, and its charter requires it to provide even-handed coverage of political news. Instead, this wasters and leftists poseur’s club acts as a mouthpiece for the left, for feminazis and the global warming scammers.

    And 1 in 4 women are not raped in NZ either despite that “statistic” being commonly believed since some mad woman, years ago, declared it so. Some people believe what they want to believe and to hell with the truth. Those types say, with a straight face, “What is truth anyway?”

    In fact, when the lesbian claimant was challenged, she was forced to admit that crimes like builders whistling at passing- by pretty women were also included in the “rape” category. By that standard, it’s a wonder that the figure was only 1 in 4. As you say, the truth is what they say it is. Western feminists interest me though.     The link says “murder-suicide” as with most cases where a man shoots his wife and then himself. It’s usually described as a brutal act of selfish villainy.

    But wait! In this case the murderer was a woman. Hmm. Better that we call it…

      This is like the Obama Regime calling the Islamist terrorist attack at Ft. Hood, “Workplace Violence” – It has been corrected after years of controversy and the soldiers given Purple Hearts and compensation, but it was clear from the gitgo the incident was Islamic terrorism.
