Open house

And this is no less likely to start and run now than when it was new.

It’s always baffled me how on Earth the culture that produced Isaac Newton could also produce Joseph Lucas aka “Lucas Lord of Darkness”

Still, though I have always wondered,if that car were to be reproduced, but with electricals and drive train produced by Ford how many would sell?I keep waiting for one of the car makers to go all out and reproduce, faithfully one of the old classics. You know, back when cars had distinctive style instead of the plastic boxes they make now.

Something I’ve often wondered about too, Darin. But these days such a car would have to meet all kinds of “safety standards” and that would make a limited production run un-economic.

I met an interesting fellow from the region the other day. He emigrated from there due to differences of opinion with the Chinese over where the borders of Tibet began. Also, having given rope torture a try on and off for a few years he wasn’t sure his joints would hold up to it for too much longer.

Proud as punch to be a new Australian, and keenly aware of what freedom is and why it’s so bloody important to defend. Also keenly aware of the danger islam presents for that exact reason.

He described life over there, and frankly I don’t want a bar of it.

Good, that’s the kind of immigrants we need.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

I’ve seen pictures of some of the real estate in the region, looked livable enough, but the earthquakes and political environment is a turn off.

I imagine this one will start quickly and run well, also.

I think she ought be forced to spend a week of 24/7 watching old Benny Hill re-runs. I know that even by 1970s standards Benny was a sexist hoot…but what a hoot! He’d not get past the car-park of a TV studio today.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

FEDERAL Health Minister Tony Abbott admits he may appear a “cruel, callow, callous, heartless bastard” over not having his daughters vaccinated with the anti-cervical cancer drug, Gardasil.

Mr Abbott was today asked if he would have his three daughters vaccinated with the breakthrough drug, which has been controversially left off the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

“I won’t be rushing out to get my daughters vaccinated, maybe that’s because I’m a cruel, callow, callous, heartless bastard but, look, I won’t be,” Mr Abbott told Southern Cross Broadcasting today.

“If there is a national immunisation program, I certainly will be making sure that they get vaccinated (with Gardasil) under the program.

Why not vax them, if it’s perfectly safe and all?

I ask this as a husband who’s wife just got the flu-shot and has been sick as a bloody dog for a week.

Let’s talk frankly here. Who doubts for a instant that she got the signal from the community activist in chief (what, you thought that profession is only about carrying clipboards and picket signs) to go to the next level?

This takes the “Broken Windows” police manual and turns it 180°. Give the miscreants an inch and they escalate. Think of the Progs’ Cloward-Piven strategy moved into every single element of living and that’s the outcome of inverting Broken Windows.

Were I the chief of police I would make sure the Mayor and her ilk were in session and then corral those barbarians straight to town hall and “give them space to destroy” there instead. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

    Yes! Exactly.
