‘Asylum-seekers make plea for help to NZ Government’
These people are wannabe illegal immigrants who have paid people smugglers a deal of money in order to attempt to circumvent border controls.
It’s high time the media stopped applying the term “asylum seekers” to plain vanilla criminals
(I know some journalists in Australia have been told NEVER use the term “illegal immigrant”)

    They’re scum – both the smugglers and the people they smuggle.

    These people know damned well that New Zealand is a “soft touch”. They are not fools but our government *is*.
    These scum know exactly how to “play the media” to get attention from foolish naive lefties.

      They also know NZ is an easy back door into Australia. These were just the more stupid of the nation-shoppers. The path to NZ has already been well-trod.

      Ahmed Zaoui developed the blueprint. First, hop a plane to Godzone. Secondly, destroy your – fake – passport in the airline toilet. Thirdly, claim asylum on arrival (despite being the leader the Islamic Salvation Front – a terrorist organisation proscribed in every civilised country, and convicted of terrorism-related offenses in other Western countries). Fourthly, use the SSM, the GreenLeft, Far Left “celebrities” and the politics of emotion to scam the intelligence services to withdraw their Security Risk Certificate, the Refugee Status Appeals Authority to declare his convictions in other Western nations “unsafe” and to grant him refugee status and asylum. Finally, after a time, obtain New Zealand citizenship.

      The other path, of course, is to come to NZ on a student visa, use a specious “qualification” to obtain Permanent Residence and eventually, Citizenship.

      And don’t forget to bring in all your parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and favoured goat-wife!

        Oh yeah. NZ polytech bureaucrats are grabbing the big bucks by enrolling uncapped thousands of dodgy Indian subcontinentals on B.S. “business” courses, all of whom believe they’ve won the key to the golden crapper: a NZ permanent residence permit.

        They just have to cheat their way through a few window-licking assessments and examinations to roll out onto the golden sunlit uplands. Not hard.

    Leftard radio NZ “news” featured an amnesty international useful idiot on this subject over the weekend.

    Apparently NZ needs to increase its “refugee” quota from 750 a year.

    Why, you ask?

    Because this number has been in place for 30 years and “NZ needs to do more”.

    So there there you have it: ye compleate soft-touch motivational argument.

    They’re not wannabe anything: they’re actual terrorists — along with their labour/green/union mates who “protest” (aka economic terrorism) against hardworking mainstream Kiwis to let them in.

    Terrorists don’t deserve the term “people”. We should just follow the Italian example & sink ’em before they get here if we can — and then let the cops do the job they’re paid to do if they make it.

      Abbott has stopped any boats from reaching the Australian mainland.
      Again, that information is out there for anybody with wit enough to read.
      He said he would stop the boats, and he has.

    KG don’t you mean “Asylum seekers my arse?” Asses are the poor creatures they will bring on their boats to keep them contented until their wives and other family members arrive. Goats make more sense since they are a smaller payload but, shit, what would I know.
