Another PC moron given a Herald headline:

‘Most people think ‘man’ when they think ‘scientist’ – how can we kill the stereotype?
..Children learn to associate science with men at early ages. Over 40 years ago, less than 1 per cent of American and Canadian elementary school children drew a woman when asked to draw a scientist. My latest research, published in Journal of Educational Psychology, (says it all, right there. kg) shows that gender-science stereotypes persist even now, worldwide..’
There’s a real simple answer to that idiotic question: give women male brains via mass transplant operations. Because nothing else will undo evolutionary effects on men and women’s brains. Why is it that clowns such as this guy – and most of these fuckwits seem to be leftard academics – think that it’s possible to simply wish way millions of years of development in the service of their ideology?
The damage they do is incalculable, yet I’ve never heard even one of the arrogant bastards admit to that possibility.

I truly believe some people need to be committed to an asylum for the insane. The PC folks really sound insane.

  2. The Gantt Guy says:

Wasn’t there an article somewhere just the other day lamenting the low numbers of girls/women enrolling in STEM courses at universities, and the even lower number who manage to complete the course requirements?

I think of the women’s movement as as sort of giant super union. It’s job is to organize as a major political power in order for the government to force employers to give at least half of all high paying jobs to women. This doesn’t have to make any sense whatsoever in terms of merit, or doing science or anything other than a mechanism of funneling money to corrupt politicians who know that they’ve already won the “women’s vote”. It’s simply yet another form of monetary “divide and conquer” corruption of politics.

I wish I could get all concerned over what elementary school children drew forty years ago, really I do, and I try and I try, but I just can’t make myself care. I didn’t read the article because I’m about to enjoy some cofffee and blueberry pie, and I don’t want to spoil it by making myself puke, but I’d like to add this: I used to be a nurse myself, but even I think of a woman when I think “nurse.” Is that a problem? Can I make it a problem? Does anybody really care? Just another case of someone finding an “issue” to get pissed off over, (oh, and of course, ask for some “funding” so they can try to fix it).

    • KG says:

Aye, Phil, which is why we’ll never run out of lucrative “issues” and the “victims” thereof.

  5. Michael in Nelson says:

This sort of idiocy makes me want to tell those idiots to chill out, have a glass of wine and STFU!!!

  6. Warren Tooley says:

The only reason I can see this happening is some people just hate men so much, they have to do what men have traditionally done, and say I can do everything they can. This is the only thing that makes sense in this regards.
