“Climate Action for a Safe Environment” is a Greens-inspired campaign to infiltrate schools, indeed the minds of schoolchildren. The campaign website contains a note for teachers: “Students can craft a persuasive letter based solely on the information in Curtin’s CASE flyer” (emphasis added) …
The letter to parents directs them to the campaign website where a standard letter is ready and waiting.

I would be very surprised indeed if the same thing isn’t happening in NZ. Time for parents to wake up.
UPDATE: As Redbaiter says, “Govt funded schools are Progressive brainwashing centers, not educational facilities”

    This is the other, unspoken, reason why Charter schools are viewed as evil by the Left. Granted they threaten the dominance of the Union, but the threat to “progressive education” (laughable oxymoron) is felt more keenly. It is not articulated in socialist circles because it completely destroys their meme that their opposition to charter schools is purely about defending the education of children. It is purely about defending their cosy little indoctrination program.

    When I was doing my teacher’s diploma we were taught that it’s not enough to just teach a student some information and expect them to remember it. What you’re supposed to do is teach them the information and then reinforce the learning with a practical application so that it sticks. What they should really be doing is debating facts amongst themselves as a practical reinforcement of what the science says in the IPCC reports:
