FURIOUS relatives of a frail pensioner terrorised by yobs who killed his cat have hit out after he was jailed for having a loaded antique shotgun.
Roy Delph, 88, was being plagued by thugs who kicked a kitten to death and vandalised his property.
But when the former Bevin Boy miner turned to police for help officers spotted the 124-year-old gun in his car and arrested him.
Mr Delph from Downham Market, Norfolk, this week began a two-year jail term despite having no previous convictions and the judge accepting he was not going to use the weapon to threaten anyone.
….The father-of-two had a firearms licence and had owned the vintage shotgun for 50 years.’
His real crime, of course, is having the means to defend himself. Can’t have that. Not in a country where police stand idly by while muslim demonstrators carry placards threatening to behead and bomb their hosts. And do both.
