‘Belief in traditional marriage is now a mark of shame, writes Brendan O’Neill:
This was once seen as a perfectly normal point of view. Now, in the historical blink of an eye, it has been denormalised, and with such ferocity and speed that anyone still brave enough to express it runs the risk of being ejected from public life …
What we have here is the further colonisation of public life by an elite strata of society – the chattering class – and the vigorous expulsion of all those who do not genuflect to their orthodoxies. Whether you’re a climate-change denier, a multiculturalism sceptic or, the lowest of the low, someone who believes in traditional marriage, you’re clearly mad and must be cast out.
The social impact of this illiberal liberalism will be dire…’

    The new normal is Bruce Jenner pretending to be a girl, the Kardshitians being the new royalty and Cecil the lion’s death being more important than what goes on at Planned Parenthood. Really who worries about something as shallow as marriage being between one man and one woman. /sarc.

    It’s not only the belief in traditional marriage but Christianity as well that has been attacked ferociously. These attacks have come from the muslim bloc, especially in the UN with their resolutions to make it a crime to critisize islam, and from the leftwing academic atheists. Christianity is being destroyed in the ME while islam is being allowed to flourish in the West. Even in traditionally Christian countries how often do we read about kids getting pulled up at school for wearing a crucifix around their neck but nobody mentions the hijab or muslim prayer rooms or even the banning of pork or the use of the word ‘pig’.

    At the same time the white male is being attacked for his privilege. And so it goes on. Who will it be next? Lion hunters?

    Like the song goes that the British Army band played at Yorktown, Virginia in 1781 when they were defeated by General Washington, “The world turned upside down.”

    This is exactly what’s happened to America since 2009 – Yes, prior to that date , the Progressives (socialists, liberals, democrats, or what-ever-they-are-calling-themselves-this-week) – were a royal pain in the ass and a dangerous 5th column of potential traitors within the gates; however, with the elevation of not very intelligent communist party hack by the name Obama to the presidency – The American Left have enacted their Communist Manifesto, as the New Constitution of our nation.

    In other words, like Britain in 1781, America has been literally turned, “Upside Down” by revolutionaries in a few short years. Unfortunately, the revolutionists in the 21st century are not nice guy 18th century rebels, who were live and let live types wanting a minimum government – but radical Leftists who want to change everything overnight and use Big Government as a club to oppress We The People.

    Hence, the Leftist revolution commanded by the American Robespierre and Jacobin Party reaches the critical moment of reaction in the summer of 2015:

    Climate change denier? Check. Believe in heterosexuality as normal? Check. Against alphabetti-spagghetti perverts marrying? Check. Aware of the inferiority of some races? Check. Angles and traps, and eats it? Check. Shit! I must be on someone’s hit list.

    In my republic one of my first laws would be to make it illegal to make it illegal to exercise free speech. Anyone who disagrees with me will be shot for taking the piss. Foreign languages will be banned so that I can understand what they’re saying. Only people who know, understand and use toilet paper will be allowed into the country. Teetotallers will be on permanent probation. The water supply will not be fluoridated, we’ll see what happens with Viagra once we’ve cleaned up the country. Oh, I could go on. What’s the point, we’ve lost this round and we’ve got to wait a generation for the next. I think I just might become a royal pain in the arse, slagging off queers, commies and liquorice all sorts. Shit, this rant means another few pints needed. Thanks to all at CR for allowing old opinionated gits like me somewhere to give vent, without it I could well leave bloody footprints in my wake.

        Seriously, though. The Iron Legion does have a point. If government continues to neuter armed forces, police and intelligence services the people will need to get up off their asses and relearn how to be patriotic men/women. This is not a game, it’s for real, it’s our culture, it’s the rock upon which we as a people are built which is at stake. I wish to God that I had been more interested in martial arts, makeshift weapon systems and so-on. Right now I feel like the General who says, “follow me men, I’m right behind you.”. In other words, am I a fraud egging others on while I hide in the trenches? Probably.
