   I get so tired of trying to keep up with the bullshit that passes for news these days. There is a major item on the discovery of a new hominid species deep in a cave in South Africa (I think it’s there) but there are serious ‘smell’ issues that have not been highlighted or researched before reporting this.

   Science is about skepticism, unfortunately, the news is about the thrill factor. I doubt rational thought will win.

     I doubt it too, Michael. There’s a strong smell of bullshit suroounding this. The first report I saw was headlined “All woman teams finds new species”.

       “All woman teams finds new species”.

       An odd specimen, similar to wymynkind but larger, hairier and stronger. Incredibly this bizarre species proved quite handy and adaptable, helping the all female team change the batteries in their cameras and aiding them in the use of their satellite phone to report the new discovery.
