   I’ve not seen anybody point out that the circuitry for a modern alarm clock would fit into a matchbox, so why all the wiring and assorted stuff? And why a briefcase, when there are far more compact cases available?
   If this wasn’t a dry run, pass me that horse and christen me Caligula.

     I don’t think it was a dry run, it was a honey-trap. He did it on purpose, designed and built it to look exactly like a suitcase bomb (without the explosive) and, when the teachers and authorities reacted in an entirely appropriate way, he screamed ISLAMOPHOBIA.

     My guess is, a set up by the father – a known activist.

       Yes, but if the object of the exercise was to get a response, you’d want to make it very visible and noisy, so the authorities could react in their predictable way and you could scream RACIST and ISLAMOPHOBE at them.

       Envelopes work well with white powder. You need something visible if you want to cause panic with a tick…tick…tick.

   Police in Rotterdam’s central station have arrested a man who had locked himself in a toilet on a Thalys train heading from Amsterdam to Paris.

   The man, described by broadcaster Nos has having a ‘north African appearance’ was arrested without the use of violence. He did not have any weapons with him.

   He was taken away on a stretcher because, police said, he did not feel well and had been hyperventilating.

   Train services to and from Rotterdam have been disrupted and a large part of the station and several shops was closed to passengers.

   Police in Berlin have shot dead an Islamist who stabbed and seriously injured a policewoman.

   Rafik Yousef, who was born in Iraq, had previously been jailed for involvement in a plot to kill Iraq’s former prime minister Iyad Allawi in Berlin in 2004.

   The policewoman, 44, was also shot in the exchange. Her condition is described as serious but stable.

   Officials said Yousef should have been wearing an electronic tag as part of his parole conditions.

   The officers had been called to reports of a man threatening passersby in the suburb of Spandau with a knife.

   Yousef had lived in Germany since 1994, according to local media reports (in German).

   “He had been convicted of being a member of a terrorist association and of being involved in a plot to murder the Iraqi prime minister,” Berlin police said on Twitter (in German).

   In 2008 he was jailed for eight years but was freed in 2013, banned from leaving Berlin and required to wear an electronic tag.

   However, the German authorities were unable to deport him as he had refugee status and was at risk of being killed in his native Iraq.

   As is well known, Obama did convert to Islam while living in Indonesia and attended a Muslim school, which still carries his name on the register, albeit as “Barry Soetoro,” – then family name of his Muslim stepfather at the time.

   This is not news – Trump said in 2014 on Fox News that Barry Soetoro later changed his name to “Barack Obama” – This is well documented.

   Therefore, NO CORRECTION WAS IN ORDER!

   Yes, later Obama allegedly converted to Christianity – if you can call a black racist church “Christian.”

   Also, Muslims mandate the death sentence for former Muslims, which is the main reason Obama is on the Islamic hit list.

     His Chicago “church” was run by an “ex” Nation-of-Islam pastor.
     His Chicago “church” did not require believers or converts to be baptised.

     Debate:
     Was his Chicago “church” actually Christian?

       When you add in that his pastor was/is openly racist and antisemitic.
       He was in a sexual relationship with the church’s gay choir director.
       And favors abortion on demand for any reason right up to the moment of birth(and probably after)

       I don’t think the argument can be made that he was ever a Christian.

         ….this is why I put Christian in quotation marks in regards to Obama’s alleged conversion to the Gospel of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

         But let’s assume that Bill Graham had baptized Obama into the Christian Faith, as a Muslim he’s allowed to lie, bear false witness, steal, cheat, murder do ANYTHING that advances the cause of Islam, which I would assume cover even a false conversion to Christianity.

         Bottom line: Once a Muslim, always a Muslim.

         I mean you do sell your soul to Darth Vader if you go over to the Dark Side.
