      • Sure is. Of course, according to the Brit press he’s “paranoid” and a “poor loser”.
        Like hell he is.

        • Hmmm. The Poms proving once again it’s better to be the man who counts the votes, than the man who votes.

          • Yep.
About three elections ago they had a major postal voting scandal and I seem to remember that there were one or two resignations but no prosecutions. What a surprise, eh?

  1. If I woke up to one of those in my garden I would ask myself, hmmmm….does Goanna leather make good boots I wonder http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • They’re beautiful animals. We used to have one raid an old 44 gallon drum we used as an incinerator in our back garden in Queensland and he never gave us a problem. They sure keep the local rat and snake population down. :)

    • I reckon it’s just publicity to counter claims that the Air Force is doing sweet fuck-all, Michael.
With the current ROE’s how can they possibly be running out? The claim about the numbers dropped looks like a flat-out lie to me.

      • I don’t doubt it one bit, they said the bombs were dropped, but they didn’t say if it was on targets,or on empty desert.

When,or IF obummer leaves office the military will have been hollowed out to a worse degree than under Clintoon.

    • Wow! 8O
      from the link:
‘..Eight forged steel columns framed the structure, which Roegner recently credited as a remarkable example of mechanical engineering “before the entire science of fracture mechanics even existed, before finite element analysis, and particularly before the very advanced statistical sampling and modeling tools available now.

“Using their slide rules and tables they figured out what they thought would be the ‘life’ of the press,” he explained, adding that they were impressively close to identifying the failure limits of the original press…’

      • Yup those old heads that knew how to whip a slip stick were the best at what they did.My boss turns 82 this year,he can tell you stories about the era before electronic calculators and even before slide rules with square root function. The Forrestal Class aircraft carriers and much of the Apollo space program was accomplished with slide rules and brain power and despite PC’s and CAD systems we haven’t progressed much further since.

    • The one from Friday was even worse. It’s leftist agit-prop, nothing more and nothing less.

I repeat for these assholes the same comment I made elsewhere the other day: they should, rather than look down their noses and deride the US, simply say “thank you”. In New Zealand, thank you for the fact our national language is not Japanese.

These assholes simply do not understand the concept of “freedom”. And, as Redbaiter has suggested in his latest post, they’re so well-indoctrinated (and so safe, thanks mostly to the US protection provided in the second half of the 20th century), they don’t even comprehend what they don’t have.

  2. The benefits of multiculturalism:
‘A MAN has been seriously injured in a stabbing at a London train station, with his alleged assailant reportedly shouting “This is for Syria” during the attack.
Britain is on its second-highest alert level of “severe”, meaning a militant attack is considered highly likely. This is mainly due to the threat the authorities say is posed by Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq and their encouragement of supporters to carry out attacks in their homelands…’

    • They are NOT “their homelands”. They are lands they’ve invaded and are occupying, sometimes illegally but more often (tragically) at the invitation of the self-hating, suicidal political and activist classes.

  3. Those goannas would keep the damn cats out out of my garden. I don’t think they would intimidate the wife armed with a gardening fork 😄

    • They’re pretty placid, unless stirred up. He’d just find a comfortable corner or tree and be a model resident.

      • The fat, useless cats in my garden are actually hilarious- they are such hopeless hunters, they would have to go vego to survive. Their feeble attempts to stalk birds are laughable.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

      • And being cold blooded he and the Cats would probably just end up sleeping in a big pile together.
