1. Well KG, this is why I only use hotmail, as far as using the internet for personal usage. If you use something that can be viewed by everybody, we have these draconian laws which monitor it. Whereas if its hotmail to someone you know, you don’t have to worry so much.

   Its such a shame though, that its come to this. What’s worse the left are able to state things freely without such a thought. For instance just today, there was something about breakup songs. Everytime it talked about a breakup song, it always stated the man as the problem. These people could have said ‘breakup songs from a woman’s point of view’. Then I would have stayed clear.

   If I make a complaint I can almost guarantee nothing would happen to these silly people.

   • Of course nothing would happen, Warren. The politics would be all wrong, wouldn’t they?
     I have several email addys and also an end-to-end encrypted one, based in Switzerland. It may not be absolutely secure, but it’s a hell of a lot better than Hotmail. The only drawback, of course, is that the recipient also needs to have an encrypted email account with the same company.

2. Oh, KG, tell me more, which email systems are safe. And if nothing would happen to these silly people, that’s why as soon as I see a red flag I run for the hills. After the 2nd breakup song it talked about, I just exited out.

   • I don’t think any of them are really safe, Warren but some are of course far worse than others.
     There are a few one-shot email systems, which stay “alive” for a few hours only and are ideal if somebody you don’t trust asks for your email addy.
     For encrypted mail, I recommend Protonmail, but you may have to wait a few weeks for a slot in the free version.

5. Censorship is nothing new in Scotland – and no doubt more than a few of my 17th century Scottish ancestors took ship to America to get away from the hated Redcoats, which worked well until about 2009; however, the Redcoats of Washington, D.C. have finally caught up with them.
