   VERY, VERY IMPORTANT NEWS!

   My friends, after eight incredible years, hundreds of Afterburners and Klavan / Whittle shows and literally thousands of Trifecta segments, PJTV has just announced that it will cease producing any content after next week and the site will shut down on May 11. My first response to the news was to tell the PJTV Executive Producer that eight years of solid employment is like eternal life in this business, and how grateful I was – and remain – for all of the opportunities they have afforded me over the years.

   HOWEVER…

   The second we got the news, I was on the phone with Steve Green and Scott Ott, and we are going to continue to do Trifecta (or something named very much like it) at BillWhittle.com, without missing a segment.

   And now to the fulcrum of the issue:

   We cannot continue Trifecta, or bring back any of the other shows you may have enjoyed, unless a substantial number of PJTV subscribers join us at BillWhittle.com. And not to put too fine a point on it, that was also my chief source of revenue so if we are going to continue to attack the Progressive Left and Defend the Good Guys, we need your help and we need it now.

   As with PJTV, BillWhittle.com members get exclusive content: I answer member questions in three minutes during Time Over Target, I do a weekly (and hopefully soon a semi-weekly) analysis of the latest news called The Nexus Report, and at least one segment of Trifecta will be for members only, as at PJTV.

   So, my friends, it is crunch time. If you were a PJTV subscriber, you have kept us going for eight years and we simply cannot continue for long without your ongoing support. And if you are not a member of either PJTV or BillWhittle.com, but have enjoyed the free programming over the years, now would be the time to help us make sure that these messages continue to get out there, free, to a country that desperately needs some common sense and political courage right now.

       Yup. But at $10 bucks a month, it’s a small price to pay for the brilliant content and commentary published by those three gentlemen. And I’d guess they’ll still publish a fair amount of content free-to-web.
