      Over the course of the last few years, I’ve seen enough “political magic tricks” to believe that, not only can they pull a fluffy muzzie rabbit out of their ass… they can get that rabbit on the ballot and win. Not once but twice!!! Way too many Americans are way too apathetic to complain, let alone do anything ballsy, in an attempt to stop them from doing whatever criminal games they decide they are going to play.

    Well, just like Europe, a wave of fighting aged men have arrived in my home cities – El Paso Texas and CD. Juarez Mexico – what happened – a whole bunch of people fled Cuba and went to Central America, mainly to Panama (yeah, the Panama that the U.S. created and basically still controls) – Panama does not want them and I think Guatemala closed its borders to Cubans… so Mexico tells Panama – hey… we are not going to let these Cubans run wild in our country, but we’ll let you fly them to Juarez and from there we’ll get them to the bridge… and that is what happened according to everyone here in Juarez… a couple of summers ago there was an invasion of kids coming in from Central America that the American press said crossed Mexico on trains and even showed a (proven staged) photo of a derailed train because there were too many people on it – that never happened – they were put on buses and driven to the border – and simply walked across the bridge and as this same wave of refugees the Catholic church fed and housed them and put them on buses to their destination… the police and gangs aren’t very kind to illegals coming up from their southern borders… all those kids would have been killed… and so would all these Cubans

    The questions – just like in Europe these are all young men of fighting age that say they are escaping their oppressive government… 3,000 of them – that is an army… have I seen women and children in this group, not yet… but I am told that there are… so why did these men not form an army to overthrow their government… over 3,000 we are expecting here.
    The question – why didn’t they just go straight to Florida as they always do – the United States is going to let what ever Cuban in if he can reach America anyway…. why go to countries that don’t want them… countries that can’t take care of them… for the ride to Texas?

    Doesn’t make any sense… unless this is all planned out… which then makes perfect sense… I live in both cities… and only in Juarez have I heard the locals say they don’t want all these Cubans here… in El Paso, people seem indifferent to it all… but mostly it’s Mexicans I here complaining about the Cubans… it might not make sense to white Americans and you wont here it in American press but Mexicans are prejudice and we aren’t too crazy about Cubans and Puerto Ricans and most blacks.

    A jury has found a Navy Commander guilty of indecent assault today.
    The Commander, who was granted name suppression, grabbed a female officer’s behind at least four times at a naval function in 2012.
    The officer said each time she turned around she saw him smirking. Although she didn’t actually see the Commander grab her, it was clear it was him, she says.
    The defence argued no one else at the function saw the offending and there were a number of other people who could have been responsible.
    A previous court martial in March failed to reach a verdict.
    The officer who accused the Commander of the assault made some mistakes when giving evidence. The judge asked the jury to consider whether or not this was relevant.

        I had a recent brush with the Grim Reaper, Gregory and although the outcome was better than expected, it’s still left me permanently very tired.
        Added to that, the hosting company now charges $180 a year, and when I started CR it was less than $80. That’s just too much. The generosity of readers kept us afloat for another twelve months, but I can’t bring myself to ask for help with the bill again.

      I worked a spell in Mount Isa when I was much younger. Never witnessed it myself, but the old hands told stories. They said that when Aboriginal women fought they really went in hard, whereas the blokes would trade a few punches, fall over, and then make up over a beer.

        Absolutely true. When it comes to domestic and general violence, Aboriginal women wrote the book.
        We worked for years in remote communities, and I’ve seen women inflict some terrible violence on family members and other women especially.
        The police are damned if they do and damned if they don’t and I don’t blame them at all for keeping their distance. Mostly they do a great job out in those places.

    I’m sorry to hear about your health problems, but the upside is that old soldiers like us are lucky we didn’t get killed in the Service when we were 20 something…or younger. Also, out on civilian street there is lots of danger…like getting run down by speeding out of control cars in a crosswalk, as happened to me last August.

    I’d be interested in keeping CR running and being the host, but I doubt if I have the Grand Master touch like you do.
