      The teacher who spoke on this subject wants to be “open and honest” about this “scam.” The teacher however doesn’t wish to be named. How open and honest is that. The media irritate me more than usual when they cite unknown sources for their authority.

    I would’ve thought the media in USA may have got a message or two from Donald Trump’s victory. But no: The US headlines (parroted by the idiotic media in NZ) insist that “Trump has opened dialogue with Taiwan to aggravate China. This is the exact opposite of the truth. The President of Taiwan telephoned Trump, not the other way around. The media still seems to believe that that their propensity for lying can continue forever.

      This is just another load of bullshit from the left. After Carter unilaterally nullified the Sino-American Defence Treaty the Taiwan Relations Act was put in place by Congress. This act states that Taiwan (ROC) must be treated the same as other “foreign countries, nations, states, governments, or similar entities”. Amongst other things the Act requires that the US military intervene if the ROC is attacked by the PRC. It was just bullying by the PRC that forced a weak President to break off diplomatic ties with the ROC. Trump is setting things right!

        In periodic visit to the University of Washington here in Seattle, I noticed a little conflict going on between Republic of China students and the CHICOMS.

        The ROC with large red, white and blue “Gear Wheel” flags as back drops would set two information booths on the large “Red Square” (Named after the use of red bricks to pave the commons area)…The PRC set up one information booth to the left (naturally) of the two ROC booths with its blood red commie flag.

        No students visited the PRC booth, but the ROC booth was overflowing with Chinese and American students happily eating donuts, drinking coffee and talking while the depressed looking PRC student staff looked over without smiles… :-)

        I stopped by and had a nice chat with the ROC students – It’s a pity most American students aren’t this well educated, conservative and proud of their Homeland as were these Chinese students.

    friends – if you will permit me to share my paranoia…

    a few months back there was a very quick and brief discussion on visits to some of our sites from Russia, I commented that I was getting massive hits from the country but I did not believe it to be bots as many of these hits were coming from the Russian search engine Yandex. Shortly after that I was having problems online with hackers getting into my google account and causing problems, I let someone else fix it and all was well, but I had gone to Mexico City when I had posted an entry Titled “E-mail Shenanigans” and at the very bottom of that posted I I said “thank you Russia for all the hits, whoever you are…” the very next day, I left Mexico City and was heading for Chile (though I got sidetracked) but my girl told me that the views from Russia stopped all the while I had been traveling… two days ago massive hits from Russia Returned…

    Ronbo had said that he too was getting many views from Russia and I think (if I am remembering well) that he stated a from of his with the government told him it was bots… which makes no sense, or that it might be Russian government feeling out how Americans are thinking at the time… hmmm… many of us here and who run our own sites in this little circle are on the right of things, and we we probably mostly all support a Trump presidency… enter the lefts propaganda machine and their recent war on “fake news” sites and what they are saying is Russian propaganda to swing votes and divide America… (?) – yeah – I don’t get it either.

    Is this connected – or just my old brain on overdrive?

    I have had my silly little site on Blogger since 2008 – before that I was somewhere else with a site that was a little bit like this one, but suspicious events and paranoia made me shut it down. Deringer Files was just a place to post my ridiculous poetry and bad art along with tales of my failed relationships… and I was happy with the ten views a week that I was getting… but then I wrote some stuff for Iron Legion… and I started to get big spikes in my views… and then I started commenting on sites like this and those views rose again… my quiet little insignificant corner of the internet had turned into a coffee shop with people coming and going, looking for more of the writings I had done at Iron Legion and comments like the ones now scattered about the web… can’t turn back now… but that media machine of the left… and my own admitting of wanting a farm in Russia – what’s not to like about the new Russia, they are making money, embrace traditional gender roles, Orthodoxy, and the chicks are hot… I also said that I have respect for the Russians and they are no enemy of mine – did I set myself up… are those views even from Russia (just because my computer tells me they are from Russia – is it true?). I am not even that political at my site – prefer to do that sort of thing on sites like this – but occasionally… it comes out and I do promote Tribalism and Nationalism and a strong believer in border control (said the Mexican), and I would be considered by some to be on the extremer right with my views on homosexuality and liberals… but do my views now make me a Russian sympathizer? what time line am I living in – am I in Bizarro world where everything is flipped upside down? am I over thinking it… just the paranoia… did the fever leave me loopy… find out next week…

    Did anyone else have the views from Russia vanish and then suddenly have them return recently – let me know.

      Almost every time I have been accused of being paranoid, subsequent events have vindicated my stance.
      Paranoia is now the only rational response to the way the world’s going.

        Like yourself I am puzzled by all the hits I’m getting on my blog from Russia, which on some days like yesterday, makes up the majority of my hits. Also, another large source of hits are coming out of France in northeast part of the country that is nationalist.

        Yes, I did discuss the Russian hits with a Secret Service agent I know here in Seattle and he d the Russian hits were bots; however, I can trace most of them back to Google or coming directly to my blog. Maybe not bots?

        The jury is still out with what the real deal is here, but it could be my g has been tagged as being nationalist and pro-Trump – and as we know – the nationalists in France and Russia are looking for allies in the world just like we do.

        Interesting. Like the old 60s protest song goes, “There is something happening here, what it is ain’t exactly clear.”

          Yes, I also get many views from France as well – but I always have, however, lately I have noticed that on the days I get views from France I also get spammed by some adult dating site – not bots from Russia because they are direct hits or coming from Yandex, or google, no comments and no spam as before, I know people in Russia, but they don’t have all day to waste lurking around my blog… The jury is still out Ronbo, but I have my eyes on this because it just doesn’t feel right… and it is starting to bug the hell out of me.

          Did the views from Russia stop for you at any point and then suddenly start up again?

        The recurring proposal by the artsy-fartsy crowd that artists should be given a living wage so they can devote full time to their art pisses me off more than most things I can think of. If their work was any good, they could make a living at it. Just look at the young boy in the UK doing amazing watercolours and making a ton of money.

        I have to be honest – all I did was go to the barnyard and picked up some cow pies, added water and threw them on the canvas.

        I let this great work of art dry in the sun for about an a hour and sold it to the local art gallery for $10,000 which sold it to a private collection for $100,000.

        The title? “Western Civilization STINKS!” :-)

      That’s one more problem where draconian laws only make the problem worse.

      The only thing here that has really reduced the DUI/DWI rate has been educating the kids when they reach junior high school.All it really takes is parking a car that’s been in a head on collision where the occupants had to be extracted.Put it right in front of the school as a reminder.The kids do learn and tend to be more responsible when they start drinking.

      Some police and sheriff’s departments also have adopted an open door policy offering free rides home or taxi fare to anyone that isn’t safe to drive,no questions asked.
