   I notice the poll is leaning 90:10% in favor of letting sleeping dogs lie.Hopefully there will be a sudden outbreak of Alzheimer’s and all this will go away quickly.

   It will cost tens of millions of pounds and take many years. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it kinda sounds more about screwing the public out of tens of millions of pounds rather than the pursuit of some perceived need for justice.

     You can add me for a conspiracy theory, but a different one.

     It is my belief that the poor equipment and bad leadership suffered by the British Army in Iraq and Afghastlystan were NOT cock-up. They were intended to destroy the British Army (both its experience in fighting conflicts and its morale). The savage cut backs to enable more Field Desk Marshals to fulfill their careers are part of the same effort. It is intended to render Britain defenceless except by a Common European Army.

     And yet the buggers STILL haven’t broken the back of the British Army’s morale. So things like this are necessary.

     The problem is that the Army is loyal to the Sovereign, NOT to some narcissistic politician. Which means that still have a reference point for right and wrong. And in today’s world that is double plus ungood.

     I am confident Brexit will happen. Following Nigel Farage on Youtube and elsewhere reveals his eloquence and determination. He and Trump both deserve to be “Man of the Year” for 2016.

   What a pointless witch-hunt! “Justice delayed is justice denied.”
   I am sure the soldiers in Northern Ireland were conducting themselves as soldiers and not as war criminals. The distinction between a soldier and a war criminal seems to be entirely subjective and dependent on who may be writing history on a given date. Are there any accepted guidelines to define the two?
