   Interesting, isn’t it, how the expressed will of the people is now described as “populism” and a danger to democracy.
   We need to reclaim the word, as with so many others these bastards have distorted and corrupted.

     The reactionaries use the word “populism” so that they won’t have to use the dread (for them) “n” word – NATIONALISM. This because the “nation-state” era is allegedly over and the New World Order is Globalism….Well…except that it isn’t.

   The first I’ve heard of Chinese being targeted. It calls to mind the trouble in Fiji during the 1980s, when descendants of Indian workers brought to Fiji by London were attacked by indigenous Fijians for very similar reasons. They were hardworking and had built themselves some prosperity, which was seen as unfair by the rather less industrious natives.
