    Managed to clock up 4.2km walking yesterday. Still feel like I caught a 30-06 in the chest plate, but it’s the vein/ artery graft sites that are the most annoying. Got off the codeine after it blocked me up like concrete. Every day gets a little better. 18 days post surgery now.

            I’d forgotten that 2017 is the 100th birthday of the Russian Revolution of 1917, which started out as a democrat insurrection against the Czar in March, but ended in Red October with a Communist takeover.

            Yes, Pascal, I agree that our little home grown commies are very much inspired by Red October, who see themselves as latter day Bolsheviks who will storm Capitol Hill and create Soviet America.

            The problem for them is this is not Russia of 1917 – and the Trump Regime is not the weak willed Kerensky socialist Regime.

              Great added point Ron. I’d not noticed how appealing that date might be to the academic Marxists who are pushing the coup idea.

              As I recall, the method Lenin used to close the deal was to bribe military officers (Naval?) into joining his coup. It was their arms that sealed the lips of the Mensheviks in the Duma as Lenin, though his Bolsheviks were the clear minority, took over. (Something like that — the details are more exacting.)

              Notice how various Lefties keep saying the military will provide their answer? I sure hope Promise-Keepers made enough in-roads within our military that’s been compromised by Bush-Obama years.
