Because they’ve never had snow before…..
“But,but All Gore and Leonardo Decapiro said this wouldn’t happen !
Yes, snow was ruled obsolete but the pesky stuff won’t cooperate with the UN dictate. Wish I could same about western governments.
This PROVES global warming is climate changing for real… or something.
It’s the same as the “debate” about leaving the disaster that is the European Union, most of the youngsters and those who pander to them have had self reliance bred out of them. When the media says “panic!” they do, they have no idea of what to do if they haven’t been specifically told.
I struggled through the snow storm yesterday to stock up on beer. It was tough, but had to be done. I think that there was about 1/32nd of an inch settling at the height of the blizzard.
It’s great for the beer. Just stand them on the outside window sill and they stay nice and cold. It eliminates the walk to the kitchen to top up.
Barely an inch here in Grantham, birthplace of our Beloved Maggie.
But at Stamford, 20 miles away, I’m told there are six inches.
I have seen more snow , even just a few years ago.
Anyway, as my 80 year old parents tell me, they had it rough.
They hark back to 1962-63 and don’t get them started on 1946-47.

I love the old newsreels…A quaint and even charming reminder of years gone by…for about 2 minuets.
Waaaayyy back when things were normal
I have never been in snow or even touched it. I have seen it on the higher reaches of the ranges to the west of where I live but only a light dusting very occasionally on the highest peak, Mt. Te Aroha.
We used to average one good storm delivering maybe 3-4 inches every 1o years or so,but this year we got two 6″ blankets about a month apart. This is 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, wind blowing 20 mph and 15*F –

Latest update on the weather disaster in the UK. London BBC news has footage of crashed buses, stranded commuters, people slipping on pavements (sidewalks). You know what’s really striking? There’s less than half a flicking inch of snow, and that’s not even on the roads. Blame Warble Gloaming, no-one plans for cold winters any more.
It would be Armageddon if they got a full foot in one night. But honestly the same thing happened here a few years ago,All the Northestern big cities curtailed their snow removal budget banking on the prediction of warmer winters, but then nature had other ideas.
