Michael, my guess is that KG would tell her to fuck off and would concentrate on more important stuff like the arrest of Tommy Robinson in the UK. Maori face painting in NZ is utterly unimportant.

I made this 1/72 scale FineMolds Tie Interceptor ( from TESB ) and lit it up . It has a 1.5mm red LED behind the pilots seat and a 5mm flickering red LED attached to two 0.75mm fibre optics to represent the engines . The tube from the stand ( which has the fibre optics and wiring going through it ) is a Kilometrico pen painted metallic black and the lower base ( containing all the electronics ) is a plastic container painted silver : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw9qxE8GJkg .
Just something a little different in a hobby that kids rarely get into these days .

Cool!I had that same model, from Revell? I think it was back not long after Episode V came out,fun times.

And yes,not enough kids are into model building anymore,or RC aircraft/boats either for that matter.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

Thanks Darin and for the subscription . I need somewhere to post pics of my kits as I do build pics . It is sad that kids don’t get into this hobby as it helps with patience , attention to detail and learn new skills . The old Revel kits , eh ? I remember those kits were larger but had from less detail . I’m into lighting up my kits now . Great learning about the basics of electronics . Also , when was the last time you saw a train set ? Another hobby I loved when I was growing up .http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

          • Darin says:

Train sets have made a bit of a resurgence here, even the bigger yard sized ones. There has been a lot of activity in the garden railroad hobby as well.
I think the decline in model building comes from the single mother epidemic.Too many boys without fathers to lead the way??http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

Maybe it ‘s just me, but in the last few days it seems that commenting on some sites has become a little less easy. Any site using Disqus, for example. Disqus formerly required a simple username and password. Now it’s added Captcha. Pick all the squares with a swastika – whoops, sorry, storefront in them.
I’m going to assume that this has come about because places like Yahoo and Facebook are so fucking lazy with their security that nobody can really be who they say they are any more. But wait… if someone has my login, how does a tick the pic keep them from using it?

    • Pascal says:

Allegedly troll-bots are not sophisticated enough (yet) to discern and pick the right squares. Hell, if I don’t clean my glasses sometimes I have trouble.

In all it has already reduced my leaving comments on Disqus sites. It’s gonna be bad for their business. But SJWs SJCs don’t like biz, even ones that pay them. Something will change at all sites that use Disqus because lost commenting is bad for their click baits too.

    Commie Jacinda loves China;
NZ ‘soft underbelly’ for China infiltration of intelligence network – Canadian report
The report, called China and the age of strategic rivalry, said “New Zealand provides a vivid case study of China’s willingness to use economic ties to interfere with the political life of a partner country”.
“An aggressive strategy has sought to influence political decision-making, pursue unfair advantages in trade and business, suppress criticism of China, facilitate espionage opportunities, and influence overseas Chinese communities,” it said.
“The impact of China’s political influence activities on New Zealand democracy has been profound: a curtailing of freedom of speech, religion and association for the ethnic Chinese community, a silencing of debates on the [People’s Republic of China] in the wider public sphere, and a corrupting influence on the political system through the blurring of personal, political and economic interests.”

    A facinating article-

    http://thefederalist.com/2018/05/30/neil-gorsuchs-question-key-unlocking-upcoming-masterpiece-cakeshop-decision/#disqus_thread

“Many may be inclined to say that this is a matter of opinion, and that the leftist view on the court is as scientific as the view on the Right. Most liberal judges might agree, since they assume immutability of sexual orientation without bothering to state or defend it. Kennedy, an exception to this rule, cited an American Psychological Association (APA) brief which, though it contains much information designed to support redefining marriage, does not assert that sexual orientation is immutable.

There is conclusive scientific evidence that most people who experience exclusive same-sex attraction end up developing an interest in the opposite sex over time.
The reason is very simple. There is not only no scientific evidence that sexual orientation is immutable, there is conclusive scientific evidence that most people who experience exclusive same-sex attraction end up developing an interest in the opposite sex over time. The stats on this have been printed out in tables and discussed matter-of-factly in the technical journals for decades, but they have a curious way of never quite making it out of the Archives of Sexual Behavior into CNN’s evening news.”
