CNN and CBS polls both showing 76% audience approval for Trumps SOTU address.
72% approve of his immigration stance,given that its a CNN pole that means it was more likely 96% approval
CNN tried to dismiss the approval rating by insisting that the poll reflected the opinion of those who watched the SOTU and that would have been mostly Republicans.
The only Republicans watching CNN to even know about their poll are those stuck in airport lobbys waiting for a flight.
I watched most of it and while Trump doesn’t have a politician’s voice for soaring rhetoric, it was a great speech. Pelosi trying to get her false teeth to sit still was a distraction though.

A recent article in the San Francisco Examiner reported that Nancy Pelosi has sued Stanford Hospital, saying that “after her husband had surgery there, he lost all interest in sex.”
A hospital spokesman replied: “Your husband was admitted for cataract surgery. All we did was correct his eyesight.”

Speeches are great….but ultimately it’s just words. Trump has accomplished much. But he’s also dropped the ball on some important issues…..and shot himself in the foot with the “bump stock ban” and by allowing the shutdown to end without Pelosi saying uncle. The demonrats will NOT surrender. They are playing the “long game”. As long as we allow them to exist and hold ANY position of power or influence they will persist in trying to destroy freedom and enslave everyone. Neither islam nor communism (and the demonrats ARE communists) will ever willingly coexist with any other belief structure. It’s THEM or US.
