When Government Fails

When Government fails in it’s most basic duties-

The wreckage of a fatal crash outside of Tisdale, Sask., is seen Saturday, April, 7, 2018. A bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos hockey team crashed into a truck en route to Nipawin for a game Friday night killing 14 and sending over a dozen more to the hospital. Trucking Today-

This is the sort of thing that happens when government fails it’s most basic duties largely because it has expanded so far out of it’s bounds.

The driver and the owner of the company will most likely see jail time for this disaster. However what about the government’s role? They are as complicent in this as the driver and owner are?Has anyone been fired, demoted or even recieved reprimand?

Not likely,and likely never will.

Maybe the biggest single problem facing us – ratbastard unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats. And they seem to proliferate like fleas and rats, as in the old USSR and every other totalitarian state.

        • The power they get from the job , as in the ” Chief Censor “. He decides what NZ’s see and read . All of these bureaucrats love the power they wield . They always turn into petty tyrants because power corrupts . They always think that they know best and turn the place into a nanny police state .

    • “…three AK-47 assault rifles, one sub-machine gun, two shotguns, one revolver, one self-loading pistol, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and 22 grenades..”

“A formidable arsenal”? Hardly seems like one to me. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

      • Me neither. Seems like what any law abiding gun enthusiast could own in a free country.
Doesn’t mean he wants to use them to kill anything.

        • My boss back in the height of the Red scare saw a large(25ton)boring mill sitting in the warehouse of a machinery dealer in Brooklyn,Ny that was smuggled in from behind the iron curtain.
It’s amazing how much stuff is smuggled in,even very large things like machinery. All it really takes is a little cash to make the right people go blind.

        • Ever since the end of the 1914-18 war, the British Establishment have been frightened of Britons owning and/or knowing how to use firearms. Now it is almost impossible, and Mr Plod has his fingers all over everyone whom they do occasionally permit to “own” one. I put “own” in quotes because at any time and for almost any reason they may confiscate without compensation.
