   NASA satellite data shows that the earth is greening! The green leaf mass has been increasing and was first detected in the mid 90’s…..and this charge is being lead by human activity in the the two most populated countries – India and China. The former by their agriculture and the latter by their tree planting.

   “Taken all together, the greening of the planet over the last two decades represents an increase in leaf area on plants and trees equivalent to the area covered by all the Amazon rainforests.”

   I suspect the usual Greenie propaganda on the subject of the Amazon burning. It is a farming region and the stubble from previous year’s crops need to be burned off annually. I stumble on the emotive term to describe the region as “the lungs of the planet!” What on earth does that mean?

         Exactly right,also the oceans are responsible for scrubbing co2 and sequestering it on a geological time level,something plant matter doesn’t do.
