I am not a Brit. But I know what the Queen did during WWII, both in helping those in London and in just being willing to go and visit with those who had been bombed, to try and help keep them steady and strong, in the face of terrible opposition. A better example of a strong woman, a leader, and a person who loves her nation, could not be found.
While my country doesn’t have a monarchy, in fact, we broke off of the UK, back in 1776, that doesn’t mean that I don’t feel a kinship with England. We have much in common, and have had each others back for a very, very long time. Here is wishing both of our nations a swift recovery from the coronavirus threat, and an even faster recovery from the economic pain that it has caused.
