Mental incapacity due to the pilots fasting may have been a factor in the crash of the Pakistan Airlines A320 in Karachi.
They did bash the thing into the ground three times with the wheels up and then continued round for another go! A bit like crashing your aircraft into the asphalt a few times and hope it will still fly. It didn’t of course, both engines stopped with tragic results.
They may have lowered the gear and thought it was down, but it will not lower above 260 knots. In fact the gear warning bell can be heard clanging on the ATC voice recording.
