      I’m pleased to see the local LEO leadership and the PPL not taking Garcetti’s cowardly slander silently. The problem in this burg is the forces are sprinkled with fellow travelers, so the police leadership and the officers on the street are constantly watching their backs. After 30 years of taking shit since the Rodney King episode the Progs within LAPD has systematically been ridding the force of as many officers who refuse to be corrupted as they can, using the same sort of ploys they have used to take over other institutions.

      You gain an idea of the extent of the infestation by Progs and subsequent damage to our institutions when you see top Military Brass torpedo Trump (their CIC) just so they can keep their invites to Georgetown shindigs. It’s a Godsend that there remain as many good cops as there are.

      I’m hoping that this move against the words of Garcetti will begin a turnaround to arrest Conquest’s 2nd Law and reverse the damage. To do that the LAPD has to dedicate itself to doing what is Right and ridding itself of the other kind so that the Left has no handles on any member of its forces.

        The evidence of lefty infestation in big city LEO is all around us, just look at the homicide rate in Chicago for proof. The beat officers are not given the tools they need to handle the problems they face. They are belittled and berated as part of their normal day and when they make a mistake they are usually crucified by the media and all the SJW groups.
        I for one would not want to be a cop, not with everything they have to put up with these days. City councils and “community leaders” expecting them to treat hardened, belligerent thugs like toddlers. A criminal justice system that no longer punishes criminals and an inner city environment so corrosive and degenerate that burnout comes twice as often as retirement.
        Now the new threat of being executed by some gangster wannabe thugs for no other reason than wearing the uniform.

        What needs to happen is, people like Garcetti and the BLM apologists, need to put on a vest and go ride along on patrol in some of these neighborhoods for a week. They might quit running their yaps so much and maybe leave law enforcement to the pros.

          As things stand, although I see evidence that Garcetti is stupid, he’s smart enough to suspect it’s not healthy for him to go on a ride along. But it’s worth a try. :yes:

          OTOH, rumor has it that Cuomo HATES DeBlasio. I think he has the power to force the mayor on a ride along. “Do it or resign.” Win-Win

            Oh yes, you better believe Cuomo hates DeBlasio. Cuomo has been having to carry Deblasio’s water since he was elected mayor and during the C19 outbreak, DeBlasio has been laying on his leg the whole time.
            DeBlasio and his whole core group of administrators are completely useless at running anything. You can’t take a bunch of burnt 60’s radicals and lazy 30 year old pot head hipsters and run a city. Diversity doesn’t get the snow off the streets and keep the gas mains live during a blizzard.
            Cuomo at least knows that Trump knows more about running the economy than he does, he has admitted that much as recently as last week. Combine that with Trump knowing where Cuomo’s skeletons are buried and they work together pretty well when the rubber hits the road. The one thing they both have in common is a burning hatred for DeBlasio. He’s nothing new on the scene afterall, he’s been a useless PITA for over 40 years.
            DeBlasio is well on track to leave the city much worse off than Dinkins did back in 93′, and that is saying something :shock:
