    Where I live and work we are in close proximity to New Orleans which is a so called “hot spot” for c-19. Ours is a bedroom community for NOLA so we have had our fair share of cases and deaths here.
    Very few people have been wearing masks throughout this whole thing. It’s mostly been people in the high risk groups. Everyone else doesn’t wear and generally just stay a few feet back from everyone they come in personal contact with.

    This stupidity of closing the economy down must stop, it is only damaging the economy and mental health of the population. When all the talk of “flattening the curve” was going on, not many people noticed that whether we flattened the curve or not, the same number of people would die regardless.

        I’ve been tracking since the start how many reported cases and deaths there have been in a four county area where I live and comparing the numbers to the official CDC count. The next step is to get the records for how many death certificates have actually been issued in the four counties. Gotta go see a lawyer friend about filing a FOIA. I suspect the numbers won’t match.
