    I remember studying the Gettysburg Address in school. The last line was always stated with extra emphasis. What wasn’t really hammered home was the Even if the Government is ‘of the people’, if the people fail to keep it ‘by the people’ it will inevitably fail to be ‘for the people’.

    The elections last Tuesday showed the importance of BY the people. Once citizens became engaged and started really listening and finding out what their purported representatives were imposing, they became the awakened and began the process of taking back the reins. The sad truth is that in countries like England, New Zealand and Australia, they have a history of the populace being babysat by their government. Individual thought has become a fading concept.

    Fairly sizeable turnout at Wellington (NZ) today demanding freedom and the resignation of Jacinda. You say what you like about “Bishop” Brian Tamaki but he has managed to get people out to protest and each protest is larger than the one before.

    Melbourne (Australia) crowds turned out in their thousands this weekend protesting vaccine mandates, restrictions on the deplorables and the new laws giving their premier Dan Andrews unrestrained power.

    Queensland (Australia) has just announced their restrictions for the unvaccinated and they are severe. I hope the crowds turn out in their thousands protesting them.

    The march of Communism proceeds at pace through the Western democracies.

    According to the governments latest numbers there have been 8306 COVID-19 cases with 33 deaths. That’s a survival rate of 99.4% even counting the one that was the victim of a gunshot but tested positive for COVID after he was shot. Also, no one under 40 has died from the disease.

      Much ado about nothing. The world has gone mad. However at the other end of the age spectrum the mortality is a bit more than 0.6%.       Also most of those deaths were during the initial phase of the pandemic and not the Delta variant with a lower mortality that we are seeing now.

      As someone who entered university at the end of the swinging sixties I can vouch for the fact that the female students needed no lessons in sexual promiscuity.

      I suspect something fishy about the timing of this announcement. Why this particular institute of lowest teachings? They probably got Fed grant money to come out now. See it as a smear, with guilt by association, the indictments brought by John Durham. We know they ARE desperate, and they ain’t going down without slinging loads of excrement.
