    For about 30 years I’ve had one degree of separation from Rupert Murdoch. My friend never entertained me and him at the same time, almost certainly because she’s too wise. She certainly thrived while in his employ. From what I know of her careful choice of words, Wallace fit in well at Fox by design. It all contributes quite a lot to my passing along my deep skepticism about all you see and hear from “conservative” pundits on any corporate media payroll. They know what we normals think and they are paid to repeat it — and the money rolls in. I think the patricians figure that as long as there are people speaking the truth that we will feel the lies cannot keep going on for much longer. It was a way to keep us from revolting while we still had time. The truth is reality. Reality will win. The question remains, who will survive?

    Question: Why aren’t there any lists of the potential adverse side effects in any of the vaccine centres? I would have thought that they would be necessary if those administering the vaccines wanted the recipients to make a knowledgable decision.

        I’m reasonably sure I read this a while back (a lot of other COVID related literature has passed through my brain since) and there are a number of suppositions in the article that are lacking adequate hard data. Not saying they aren’t valid just that the ‘suggests’, ‘might’ and ‘may’ are not proof. The author does explain why he lacks the data and I do agree with a number of his conclusions. The one area that the Government and MedSafe need to be pushed on is why they didn’t accept the information available from overseas.

        NZ is a small country with less than 5 million people. An experimental treatment where the developer has no liability and a huge financial incentive to have as many doses as possible sold, is a situation ripe for abuse. Especially as the producer in this case has a record of criminal conduct to push profits. If an every day Joe with a basic understanding of science and processes can see gaping holes in the Government’s handling of the vaccines, why haven’t members of the press who purportedly deal with medical issues often, recognised the faults and pressed the powers that be for answers?…THAT IS THEIR JOB!

        The number of Kiwis that have swallowed the Government/Media narrative is appalling. When did they lose the ability to think critically and ask pertinent questions? When I went through university (60s & 70s) one of the main goals of a science education was to learn how to ask questions.

      I followed Cam’s blog when HC was the PM and so I know his deep political background. He makes his case well but has omitted one BIG factor. Arden could not do what she has done without the acquiescence of other Labour MPs.

      Same thing in Colorado, they legalized it seeing it as a revenue stream, now they are taxing it at sucha rate that the illegal boot legged stuff is still cheaper. It’s just further proof that governments f**k up everthing they touch.

        Pascal, I know (as most everybody else here do) that the COVID pandemic has been an exercise in how to instil fear in the population. I believe the challenge for us is, how do we impart that knowledge to members of the general public without sounding like conspiracy nutcases?

        If all we do is shout “It is only the governments pushing fear at you!”, we will be unsuccessful in changing minds. We can’t just push the idea (truth) of “Fear, fear, fear” as a government mantra. Unless we find some way to expose the falsehood of that mantra, we will remain at the outskirts of the discussion. Fire and brimstone preaching have never converted but few. How do we rephrase our truth to a message of Love?

          A good number of the general public accepts already their new masters because they know no Other. Reviving faith in the Higher power is almost certainly where the answer to your question will be rediscovered. We need faith and courage to accept our roles in leading. We don’t own the big megaphones, but we can work miracles in opening eyes to the power to be found in renewed faith, and from there, faith in human life to serve what’s good.

          Progs’ lies are falling one by one before our eyes. Truth is reality and reality always wins. So the cascade is coming, but when is not nearly as important as being ready for it.

          I’m still trying to learn what my role could be at my advanced age. The reason for my drumbeat above was to make the point that fear has become just about all the enemy has left. When the drumbeat stops is probably when their fear is greater than ours.

          Quoting Solzhenitsyn: “We know they’re lying. They know they are lying. They know we know they are lying. We know they know we know they are lying. But they are still lying.” They can’t con you and I and anyone here, and our numbers are growing.

          However, we do have a realistic fear: the consequences of what will happen when the destruction of the Prog house of cards topples in earnest.

          Hence, once again, the benefit of understanding the importance of faith, that truth prevails. Life will continue, but — realistically — under less flamboyant conditions.

          So I intend to be a part of seeing to it that the new outlook is promising. I’ve stored what knowledge I’ve been able so that what might seem to be the threat of a dark age is short. I’m only one. Do your part. That’s better than a message of love, that is demonstrating it.

          I welcome all ways to restore faith in Him and not mortal man. Just throw out ideas, and I and others will adopt or adapt what proves to provide advances.

          There are those who you will never be able to convert. Generally they have never had an original thought of their own. It’s those who are seeing the damage and the failure of the government’s policies that one can work on. If someone questions anything in my presence I give them a link with something for them to read.

          Also one needs community leaders to speak out. Archbisop Vigano is doing a magnificent job.
