Queen Elizabeth II worked for her people right until the end of her days appointing the 15th Prime Minister just two days before her passing-
“I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong.”
I wish more of the world’s leaders held that perspective……

She certainly lived up to her declaration.
It’s a pity that all the self-serving politicians that have destroyed the backbone of the UK didn’t have a smidgen of the integrity and devotion to the people they serve that she possessed.
King Charles has shown us already that he is not of the same caliber.
In Australia the monarch of the British Commonwealth is still our head of state, and I would prefer to keep it that way, and as big an idiot as Charles may be, I would much prefer a delusional idiot with no executive power over a politician with an agenda any day. Having said that, HM Queen Elizabeth II served the commonwealth well for 69 years, longer than I have been alive, and I salute her for that.
