So the late, slow count in Nevada has produced a win for the Democrats and they keep control of the Senate. Odd how so many of the late counting goes in favour of the Dems.

Those Physicians Who Embrace Patently False And Obviously Ridiculous Theories? Their Critical Thinking Is Clearly Flawed And They Are Not Competent To Practice Medicine On Real People

‘Masks reduce racism’ study is latest sign US medical establishment is insanely, perilously woke

Is there anything masking can’t do? Except for control COVID spread, of course.

A new study in the New England Journal of Medicine purports to show that mask policies in schools work to contain COVID. But that’s not all: The authors conclude, “We believe that universal masking may be especially useful for mitigating effects of structural racism in schools, including potential deepening of educational inequities.”

    • mawm says:

You do realise that the average working medical specialist never reads medical literature not of his speciality. There is just not enough time with the vast amount of stuff that gets published. Stuff like masks and racism will come from a few activist “academic” dr’s and promoted by them for media bites. Fortunately my orthopaedic surgeon knows that surgical masks only offer some splash protection from the nano-pharynx of those leaning over the open wound and that laminar-flow theatres, personal movement in the OR, number in the OR, proper surgical scrubbing and donning gloves and gowns, shorter duration of surgery and less tissue damage, and prophylactic antibiotics prevent wound infection. This has been known for decades.

I feel for your embarrassment for what has happened to your profession all too well because of how I feel about mine. Only i know that any doctor that still takes his oath seriously must feel far worse than I ever could.

        • mawm says:

I’m not embarrassed. I know that the vast majority of those with whom I have worked go well beyond what is expected of them even to the detriment of their health and families. I also know that they practice ethical medicine and that they keep up to date in their respective specialities. People like Fauci have become corrupted by the lure of money – but then he was always corruptible as shown by his chosen path in administration and gaining power. So too all the others who have been at the forefront of the “narrative”. I assume you have watched Dr Peter McCullough and Dr Pierre Kory and their passion for helping their patients and spreading the word. That is what the people I have worked with are like.

My profession is still strong, it’s the vultures surrounding it that are the problem.

            • mawm says:

Depends on what kind of surgery. There is a world of difference between an orthopaedic surgeon and an eye surgeon, and when it comes to the best some have looked and behaved like farmers, hunters, carpenters, football players, musicians, aesthetes and boors. Some have been gentle mannered and some have erupted like Vesuvius. Take your pick…..or ask your friendly anaesthetist or theatre nurse.

              • Pb says:

A good friend from Uni became the youngest Orthopaedic Surgeon to practise. He was red faced and looked Chestertonian. Quite awkward in formal attire. Another friend an ophthalmologist. He could act the doctor, but was quite the clown. Blind as a bat. We can all act the role. If only competence could be more transparent.

Data from the Pentagon’s Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) has been similarly alarming, showing that 2021 saw drastic spikes in a variety of diagnoses for serious medical issues over the previous five-year average, including hypertension (2,181%), neurological disorders (1,048%), multiple sclerosis (680%), Guillain-Barre syndrome (551%), breast cancer, (487%), female infertility (472%), pulmonary embolism (468%), migraines (452%), ovarian dysfunction (437%), testicular cancer (369%), and tachycardia (302%).”

Can anyone explain to me how any government can establish a ‘Climate Change Policy’ when no one knows what the optimum level of CO2 in the atmosphere is?

    • Pascal says:

To begin with, why are you buying their premise that CO2 levels cause climate change? That is in contradiction to the data evidence that CO2 levels follow rise in temperature rather than leading it.

      • Darin says:

Exactly, CO2 isn’t a problem, unless we have too little of it. We know that it was 800 ppm or higher when the poles were covered in rain forest. And we suspect according to recent data that 220 ppm is when all life on Earth would cease to exist. So at our current 390-400 ppm ,we are on the lower edge of the sweet spot.We won’t ever have “runaway” greenhouse conditions as long as the Oceans keep depleting C02 from the atmosphere.

The main driver of climate on Earth is still that giant nuclear reactor we are circling. Veritasium just dropped a video explaining what can happen when a star explodes.
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evUfG3lrk5U

It’s difficult to wrap ones head around just how much power we are parked next to. 173,000 Terawatts of solar energy strikes the Earth continuously. That’s 10,000 times the worlds total energy use, daily, 24/7/365 and it has been doing so since about 4.5 billion years ago.
When you consider that we are 93,000,000 miles from the Sun if you extrapolate what the surface area of a sphere 93,000,000 in diameter is A=4πr2=4·π·9×1072≈1.01788×1017 (1,017,880,00000000000000000 square miles, and that the Earth only constitutes a tiny Fly spec of that. It doesn’t take long to realize we have zero influence over the climate here on Earth.

        • pb says:

If we are going to get elemental, human bodies are 18% Carbon. People are carbon based. People are then COAL based lifeforms. We should make friends with Carbon and Carbon Dioxide and Coal, as we are made of the same stuff. The entire premise of the anti-human environ-mental pedophiles is garbage. The Sun is good. The propaganda spewing media is bad. All their graphs and papers are garbage.

    • Michael in Nelson says:

I don’t buy the premise that CO2 drives climate change. My question was simply to point out the ridiculousness of any government establishing a policy to control it in the first place.

      • Pascal says:

I was pretty sure you didn’t. I felt the need to add that disclaimer just in case some noobie happens by and doesn’t know you or us well. :D

I guess I could have started that out with “Surely you aren’t buying…” but I was feeling hardcore in the face of the stupidity to which you refer.

    • mawm says:

Stating the optimum CO2 level would be too honest for them so they’re using “radiative forcing” which is a measure of how much energy comes from the sun, compared to how much is radiated back into space. The IPCC use it to describe four trajectories of human induced greenhouse gas concentrations. Called Representative Concentration Pathways or RCPs, the four measures are RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP6, and RCP8.5 representing radiative forcing of 2.6, 4.5, 6, and 8.5 watts per square metre. The RCP8.5 is the absolute disaster projection and this is the one being used by NIWA for NZ’s projections. The only problem is that the UNFCCC has now banished RCP8.5 from all its policy-making at COP27. For good measure, it has also dropped the RCP6.0 scenario, and is now focusing on an envelope between 2.6 and 4.5 – a new addition, RCP3.4.

We’ll have to wait and see if Ardern will change her course. I very much doubt it as, like with Covid, she wants to have a frightened compliant population she can force her will upon them. Like all die-hard communists she truely believes that she is the only source of wisdom, knowledge and truth.

Muriel Newman is a treasure. Her NZ Centre for Political Research is the only body that has clear level-headed vision. Take a listen to the Leighton Smith Podcast with Newman. She comes on after the American interview. It does not give me much hope for the future of NZ.

The question being asked is “why are Schwab and Gates at the G20?” I’d like to further question why the European Union is there as Germany, France and Italy have seats at the table.

NZ is definitely not in the same ballpark but here’s an interesting photo apparently taken there.

She does not have the intellectual capacity for original thought and has to trot off firstly to Blackrock and now a meetup with Schwab for the play sheet. At the start of the pandemic Gates private plane landed in Wellington. It seems to have been erased from the web. Was he checking up on his star player? I also want to know if the leader of the opposition, Luxon, is also a WEF acolyte. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

    • pb says:

Association with the current Elite faction of globalist censors is becoming electoral poison, the dumb lower echelon of executives like Jabcinda just don’t realise it yet. Luxon is 100% a WEF wanna-be. He ran a woke airline. We saw from the manufactured pandemic crisis that Airlines are Number One enforces of tyranny, and they act as gatekeepers for this pathetic globalist empire. There are many low level demons agitating to jump onto this sub-elite club. Political factions are a joke, democracy is a delusion. No longer do politicians serve the working people, they serve their masters. Its a Uniparty.

It’s not too grim though. We just need organise outside this obvious scam, and topple their tomfoolery. Need to be organised, accept spiritual guidance and build parallel systems, beyond their bullshit. Generational commitment.

Michel’s theory on the leadership class of Elites describes the current fog bog quite well.

This link is for the latest adverse reaction report. Note it is for August. The next is supposed to come out 30 November. I find it hard to follow and almost impossible to determine the actual number of mortalities from the vaccine(s). There is a table of mortalities by age group but the text above it claims only one confirmed death. That can’t be right.

    https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/safety-report-45.asp

The table of actual vz expected deaths doesn’t make sense to me either. Can anyone help?

    • mawm says:

I’m not a statistician so no help from me. Seems like a lot of BS. They are persisting with the relative risk and not absolute risk. Point e) under table 7 – “The relative risk of 1.10 does not indicate there is an increased risk of mortality in the 10 – 19 age group because the lower end of the confidence interval is 0.57 (ie, <1.0)" Sounds like BS to me. The upper limit is 1.92 so that means it is a hugely increased risk by their logic.

If they are not doing autopsies and tissue samples they cannot determine if the deaths were not due to the vaccine or not. So what do they do? Who knows. Do a bunch of scientists sit around a table and say .."hmm he died after a vaccine, probably a heart attack. No history of angina but he was bit overweight and a smoker so it must have been that!" http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif
