Update: Much is being made of the fact in the media that the gunman is blonde and a “native Norwegian” and that he has no ties to any terrorist organisation. It seems a little early to be able to state the latter without more investigation -and an islamist group has already claimed responsibility for the bombing. So, we will see. The headline stands until then.

That behavior is not consistent with the typical extremist.
His ‘everything’ doesn’t add up. His persona is internally inconsistent.
When I contemplate who benefits — it all points to Mullah Krekar — a top islamist asset in peril of justice.
Krekar threatens Oslo with horrific retribution — and out of the blue — it happens. And it’s the government that is targeted.

An orgy of evidence ( c.f. Minority Report ) is suspicious on its face. In normal crime, the perps make at least SOME effort at thwarting the law. ( unless completely drug addled )
And then there is the perp’s astounding situational awareness. It’s like a Mission Impossible episode flipped upside down.
At a larger remove, if he is as half intelligent as is claimed — then why did he score a perfect own-goal?
His vile scheme obviously would bring MAXIMUM hatred for those he purportedly considers his political kin: the nationalists everywhere.

Bill Ayers and pals being a case in point. He bombed and ran. Bombing and then going on a suicide mission is so islamic, not Western, at all.

Your comments are perceptive. There is a whiff of a manufactured persona around his FaceBook profiles. All the storyline/biographical information which is being bruited by the media was uploaded just a few days ago. It’s all just too darned convenient…
Also, there’s a parallel resemblance to the Tim McVeigh/Iraqi Mukhabarat (Hussein al Husseini) connections in the Oklahoma City bombings as described by Jayna Davis in “The Third Terrorist”.
I don’t pretend to know what’s really the truth, but I do know I don’t trust anything we’re hearing right now.
