NZ’s National Party–socialists in all but name

If you ran a company like this, you’d be bankrupt in no time:
‘National has earmarked the $5 billion to $7 billion it expects to make from partial assets sales for feel-good projects such as modernising schools, in a bid to sweeten up its most controversial election policy…’
Pay down some of the billions in debt, and cut back on borrowing by trimming welfare? Nah…..there’s no lemming/maori/green votes in that. God forbid some principles and vision should rear their ugly heads and ruin a good election ploy!

I see the uppity natives, after three years of non-mandated troughing courtesy of the National Socialists, are going for gold with the minimum wage and veto rights on foreign investments. Nice to be a NZer of the right skin colour!

This poison operates across the entire Western world. The West’s economic problems are precisely because of government meddling and pandering to the lumpen or the resentful. The real madness has been the conceit that clever people could figure out how to run things better than those hateful realists who could and did muster the courage to say “no way” at critical junctures, i.e., after any idiotic policy idea was presented. Oh, and use the money of productive people to make it all happen. And pander to violent, rejectionist minorities in the process.

This approach is deeply embedded in Western nations and will only disappear as the disaster is allowed to run its complete and terrible course.

    Yes indeed–and that’s a frightening prospect, Col.
