   World wide there ia s small minority of very noisey leftists in left political parties ,universities etc who have this campaign against Israel. They are ably assisted by the uncritical MSM.
   Add to that the relatively recent but massive immigration of Muslims to the west since the ’70s.Labour parties find these immigrants as part of their constituency and many Muslims realise Labour( for the moment) are their best bet.

   So instead of having campaigns to assist the oppressed Copts of Egypt or of women and minorities in the Middle East generally the left display anti Israel sentiment ,which is convenient as it’s also anti American.

   Funny how things change as Israel used to be a bit of a left wing darling what with the kibbutz movement,once strong Labour party etc
   Tends also to show how the “left” seems to have changed from what was a workers movement to an ideology based on cherry picked issues such as anti Americanism,anti nuclear,etc

   By supporting “Palestine”,they really are being anti democratic and anti human rights,things they pretend are important to them.

   I looked this up and I think the organiser was threatened. Don’t know by who. May not have been Islamics ,possbly that crowd from Boycot etc who knows.
   What I do know is it flies in the face of all the values that the Victorian PM and the organisers pretend they represent.
   It’s actually a farce.
   I note that there is a Lebanese group of dancers from Baalbeck. Baalbeck is famous in the classical world for pagan temples to Jupiter and before that to even more pagan stuff. How’s that for unorthodoxy? But it’s a big no to the Yids.
   I reckon there’d have been no objections to a folk singer from Kazakstan singing “Throw the Jew down the well”

   All this dancing and music and folky pagan god stuff would really upset the very people who don’t want Israel being mentioned!
   What a complete non sense. And the Victorian tax payer is underpinning this shit.
   Now there’s a story for some young buck reporter to make his name on, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
