In the latest copycat school shooting, after initial contact and retreat, the local cops decided to wait for backup before entering the school and dealing with the threat…..for an hour. It’s worth remembering that police and fire are not required to risk their lives to save anyone, that some do is a testament to their personal heroism. Then there is the time delay, when seconds count the police are minutes away. So when SHTF, you’re on your own. It’s up to you, to defend you and those you love.

It’s very possible that at least some of the kids that died, did so because of blood loss and might have been saved,IF police had acted sooner. As a male, I understand that my life is expendable when it comes time to defend the innocent.
