Thank a greenie–and your dishonest government:

‘In order to meet the per-gallon fuel efficiency standards set by Congress, the automobile industry has been forced to reduce the size and weight (mass) of vehicles. Consequently, cars and light trucks contain more plastic and aluminium than ever before. Their human occupants are more vulnerable to injury and death from most kinds of accidents. The evidence proves the point.
In 1989, analysts at the Brookings Institute estimated that 2,000 to 3,900 lives are lost and 20,000 serious injuries occur each year in traffic accidents resulting from smaller, lighter cars.’ Mark Levin
Just add it to the millions of deaths caused by the banning of DDT–more anti-human, anti-civilization filth from greenies and their political accomplices.

Lefties need to believe. In something. Anything.

Global Warming Skeptics Test Well, Study Finds
‘..A study published Sunday in the journal Nature Climate Change finds that people who are not that worried about the effects of global warming tend to have a slightly higher level of scientific knowledge than those who are worried..’
Buried in the news item is this revealing nugget:
‘.”As respondents’ science literacy scores increased, their concern with climate change decreased,” the paper, which was funded by the National Science Foundation, notes.
And this:
‘Regardless of how much they know about science, individualists were relatively unconcerned about global warming, whereas those who value equality were very concerned…’
That word again….”equality”.

Teen’s (anti) Gay Marriage Video Banned By YouTube

‘The following video produced by sixteen-year-old Madeleine McAulay has been banned by YouTube because it did not meet their “community guidelines.” The video, which had garnered over 20,000 hits in only a week, was submitted to Breitbart News for consideration when it was first released. We are proud to host this video at Breitbart News and we invite everyone to Tweet it, Facebook it and embed it in their blogs. Not because we necessarily agree with Ms. McAulay, but because we believe, as our founder did, that our nation is stronger because of active and engaging debate of all ideas.’
“community guidelines”? Which “community” would that be, I wonder?
UPDATE: Francis Porretto has much more to say on the matter.

This Kiwi needs to grow up—and bugger off back to where he came from.

‘An expat Kiwi has reportedly been arrested after having a violent meltdown over an Australian TV ad mocking the New Zealand accent.
The 44-year-old Griffith man, who immigrated to Australia from New Zealand, allegedly assaulted and intimidated a WIN Television employee after the station aired a satirical ad for furniture seller Knockonwood, the Area News reported…’

Mark R. Levin:

“..The Statist’s Utopia can take many forms, and has throughout human history, including monarchism, feudalism, militarism, fascism, communism, national socialism, and economic socialism. They are all the same species–tyranny. The primary principle around which the Statist organizes can be summed up in a single word–equality...”
‘Liberty and Tyranny’

Pork. Cloud. Mexico.

‘..The Department of Homeland Security has been forced to release a list of keywords and phrases it uses to monitor social networking sites and online media for signs of terrorist or other threats against the U.S.
….Department chiefs were forced to release the manual following a House hearing over documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit which revealed how analysts monitor social networks and media organisations for comments that ‘reflect adversely’ on the government.
However they insisted the practice was aimed not at policing the internet for disparaging remarks about the government and signs of general dissent, but to provide awareness of any potential threats…’
Seems to me they contradict themselves, right there in the bolded section…

‘Why the world can no longer ignore Syria..’

Yes it can. It’s ignored genocide in the Sudan by islamists long enough, after all.
Once again, the predictable calls for international action, the predictable outrage at what’s going on in yet another Arab shit-hole. Why should Western taxpayers pay one cent to the U.N. for them to meddle in a country’s business? The Arab countries have always been brutal, backward cesspits and probably always will be. Western countries were all agog at the “Arab Spring” and supported popular uprisings, and hasn’t that ended well?  If they choose to kill one another there’s very little indeed we can do about it, except throw money we can’t afford while countries like Saudi Arabia–the source of much of the unrest–sit back and contribute nothing and use the chaoes to spread the reach of Wahabbism. The best thing we could do is sit back and let them implode then go in and take over the oil wells so primitives can no longer hold us to ransom. Screw them.
