It’s the totalitarian way…..

‘London, England – A new wealth tax is being proposed by the leftist wing (The Liberal Democrats) of our coalition government that will come with unprecedented powers to enter our homes and root through our personal possessions to value rings, necklaces, paintings and furniture, anything that might raise more taxes. If we refuse to be inspected or get our own valuations wrong, we would be facing fines, maybe even a jail sentence….’                source

The Brits are coming…

SPECAUS20130205 ‘Having spent much of the 19th century shipping their snaggle-toothed criminals and deviants Down Under, the great and good of Great Britain have always looked upon Oz as a land of ill-mannered, uncultured grunts of the worst possible breeding. Now, they plan to do something about it, to civilise you offspring of convicts. The most goodly portion of the great and good — none other than the Guardian newspaper, reading material of choice of right-thinking, latte-loving Britons — is venturing to Australia to give you all a good talking-to. Expect stern lectures about your racism, misogyny, daftness, drunkenness, and most of all your crazy, crazy climate change denial…’        source
Just what we need–another leftard rag, this one from a country they’ve helped consign to the trash heap. In our crude Aussie vernacular…fuck off!  When we want lectures from effete, sandal-wearing forelock-tugging semi- shielas, we’ll tell you what to say. Until then, go root  a corgi or something.

The new rulers:

695862-climate-change‘LABOR is considering dissolving the $218 million-a-year Climate Change Department as part of a cost-saving restructure that could see it merged with another government bureaucracy.
In other words, a purely cosmetic change to the massive white elephant Gillard’s government set up. Not one bureauleech will be sacked.
The department is part of a $1.6 billion-a-year climate change behemoth in place to administer the government’s carbon tax. It also includes the Clean Energy Regulator, the Climate Change Authority and the Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator. Continue reading

A beautiful thing:

Mike at Cold Fury, on liberals fleeing the hellholes they’ve created and moving to free states. Then complaining about freedom.
‘..See, that’s a perfect illustration of the difference between them and us: we’re perfectly content to let them foul their own nests all they like; all we want is for them to leave us the hell alone, to grant us some small space in which we can live in freedom. They, on the other hand, have an utterly irresistible compulsion to force the rest of us into their mold, to make us–ALL of us–get with their fascist program. Because their totalitarian dream can’t really work as it should, see, unless EVERYONE is forced into it…’

You can have my coffee mug

and I’ll pry it from your cold, dead hands:
‘Caffeine is so dangerous that it should be regulated like alcohol and cigarettes, warns leading expert
In just one year, the substance killed four people in Sweden, adds Dr James.
Hell, in just one year, bathtubs killed as many people in Sweden.
He says that caffeine – in the form of energy drinks – also offsets the sedating effects of alcohol and encourages people to drink more.
So, it’s a good thing, then?
Furthermore, there is a ‘growing body of evidence’ which indicates that compared to alcohol alone, adding caffeine increases the risk of having unprotected sex, experiencing or committing sexual assault, drink driving and being violent.
And it causes premature hair loss, acne and ingrown toenails too.
There is also evidence that caffeine consumption by children may also make them more likely to use alcohol, drugs and smoke in the future…’
Wabbit has irrefutable evidence that eating vegetables makes children more likely to use alcohol, drugs and smoke in future. Every alcoholic druggie smoker he’s met had eaten vegetables as a kid.
Last week, butter was bad for us. This week, it’s ok. Last year, eggs were killer capsules of death–this year, they’re a good source of protein. Why the hell should we listen to anything “experts” say?
