The latest Woodpile Report is up
Remus has some thoughts on the damage caused by the outrageous Marbury v. Madison ruling of 1803, and quotes Mike Vanderboegh on the subject of saving the Republic:
‘…But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.
And it could well be that no matter how long the odds, if we but have the will, we can and shall win…’
Americans fear government more than terror
‘Astonishing poll results for 1st time since 9/11 hijackings
According to a pair of recent polls, for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, Americans are more fearful their government will abuse constitutional liberties than fail to keep citizens safe.
Even in the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing – in which a pair of Islamic radicals are accused of planting explosives that took the lives of three and wounded more than 280 – the polls indicate Americans are hesitant to give up any further freedoms in exchange for increased “security.”…’

Is Europe waking up to cultural genocide?
From an article by Daniel Pipes. (No link, it’s behind a paywall) There’s no doubt at all that the islamisation project is being rammed through against the wishes of a majority in the West:
‘..Swiss voters endorsed a referendum in 2009 banning minarets by a 58-42 margin, a vote more significant for its ratio than its policy implications, which were roughly nil. Public opinion polling at that time found that other Europeans shared these views in roughly these same proportions. Polling also shows a marked hardening of views over the years on these topics. Here (with thanks to Islamisation fighter Maxime Lepante) are some recent French surveys:
• 67 per cent say Islamic values are incompatible with those of French society;
• 70 per cent say there are too many foreigners;
• 73 per cent view Islam negatively;
• 74 per cent consider Islam to be intolerant;
• 84 per cent are against the hijab in private spaces open to the public; and
• 86 per cent favour strengthening the ban on the burka.
As noted by Soeren Kern, senior fellow at the New York-based Gatestone Institute, similar views on Islam appear in Germany. A recent report from the Institut fur Demoskopie Allensbach asked what qualities Germans associate with Islam:
• 56 per cent: striving for political influence;
• 60 per cent: revenge and retaliation;
• 64 per cent: violence;
• 68 per cent: intolerance towards other faiths;
• 70 per cent: fanaticism and radicalism; and
• 83 per cent: discrimination against women.
In contrast, only 7 per cent of Germans associate Islam with openness, tolerance, or respect for human rights. These commanding majorities are higher than in earlier years, suggesting that opinion in Europe is hardening and will grow yet more hostile to Islamism. Islamist aggression assures that anti-Islamism in the West is winning its race with Islamism.
High-profile Muslim attacks such as the ones in Boston exacerbate this trend. That is its strategic significance. That explains my cautious optimism about repulsing the Islamist threat.’
Liberal idiocy, home brewed in NZ.

‘Hi!
There’s this photo you made:

So, the thing is that we have a 2-piece blues band here in Budapest and we’re about to release a new EP (online only). And we would love to use that camel. He/She has just that clever look we need for the cover.
This is really just a favour we are asking as it is highly unlikely that we ever will see any money from releasing the record. That means we can’t pay, that’s for sure.
This is us: Frozen Steak
I’m attaching the cover draft that my bandmate made.
Please contact me and let me know if we can use your picture for the cover. Otherwise we’ll have to go to the zoo.
Best regards,
Laszlo Borza

Their stuff is available online at the link above, and I know we have some blues fans. Well worth a look and a listen.
The Sheep of Watertown
‘..With the backdrop of Boston as the location of so many of the American Revolution’s historic events that gave rise to the ideals of Americanism, it is disturbing to see how easily and quickly the government took control over an acquiescent We the People. How can the government manage us and protect us if we won’t submit? What have we already traded, and what will we trade in the future for a false sense of safety…the American birthright of freedom and liberty our founders fought and died to secure?…’ American Thinker
Forget the national debt, immigration and unemployment–the most urgent problem facing America is that fact that her citizens are now cowed by government goons. After Watertown, any tyranny is possible and perhaps inevitable.
Destroying America, as we watch:
‘A government watchdog group has discovered that the United States government is advising Spanish-speaking residents that they need not declare their immigration status to qualify for food stamps…
…Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said of this discovery, the “USDA is actively working with the Mexican government to promote food stamps for illegal aliens.” This implication, he asserted, “should have a direct impact on the fate of the immigration bill now being debated in Congress.”
“These disclosures further confirm the fact that the Obama administration cannot be trusted to protect our borders or enforce our immigration laws,” Fitton said. “And the coordination with a foreign government to attack the policies of an American state is contemptible.”…’ Breitbart
When the piece of filth squatting in the White House said “we will fundamentally transform America”… he lied. What he meant was “we intend to destroy the America your forefathers knew and built”
