Westerners will have to step up and defend their own countries or lose them, because politicians, the courts and the police will not do it.

“Imagine meeting this guy in 1945. Just returned from WW2 after taking a bullet to his leg and he would’ve wholeheartedly told you that the USA was the greatest country in the world. If you had asked him about Detroit, he could’ve told you about how it was “The Arsenal of Democracy” or the “Paris of the West”. He no doubt knew what happened to Nagasaki and Berlin.
