‘Banned from NZ but still on welfare
An illegal immigrant who was stripped of his citizenship and banned from New Zealand has been receiving a $360-a-week sickness benefit while living overseas.
Salam Mansoor Abdelabbas Al-Bawi was sentenced to six months’ home detention in 2008 after he admitted lying to New Zealand authorities in order to gain refugee status, residency, citizenship, and a passport….
……..Al-Bawi came to New Zealand in 2000 and was granted refugee status under the Joseph name, despite having residency in Denmark…’
Who in hell made that decision, and why are they still employed?

    winz has 40 “strategic planners” with a support staff of 60. So there’s no shortage of taxpayers’ money in that bottomless pit – besides what’s a measly $360 bucks a week? It’s not like it’s coming out of some lazy, shiny arsed bureaucrat’s pay packet.
