To reform ‘politics as usual’,

cut ’em off at the knees. Head them off at the pass and break up the cozy “bipartisan” arrangements in the corridors of power.  It’s gaining momentum and beginning to work.
There are some clever bastards out there.

    Yes once politicians get a place in the hallowed halls of power they seem to develop a form of “Stockholm syndrome” and go along to get along.

        Follow the money. In the US politics is always a career that is going to earn big bucks. Take that away, with all the privilege they get, and make it a public service calling again. That will get rid of most of the venality found amongst them. :rant

          Term limits would go a long way toward fixing this. That and return the power to the States, where it belongs. Take the power away from the feds and the money will vanish.
