    • Wow. What a powerful reminder of what it took to make a great nation. I wonder if it will take the same to save it.

      • For whatever reason I always celebrate on Memorial day and Memorialize on Independence day.My ancestors fought on both sides particularly my great great grandfathers, they both fought at the Battle of Shiloh in 1862 a two day battle that cost 26,000 men.Neither of them were wounded or killed which leaves me with awe that I even exist.

There was an eyewitness account written of the battle that described one part of it being fought in a Cherry orchard.2,000 men engaged in a rifle attack that descended into a bayonet charge at close quarters, only 12 men survived wounded. The account has the battle taking place under a constant snow of Cherry blossoms that later covered the bodies of the fallen in what had to be a surreal scene. It’s a shame that civilized men should descend into war,but war as Sherman said is a fever that must run it’s course.

    • The list of injuries and usurpation’s sounds familiar today doesn’t it?

    ‘Nuff said.

    • Good to see The Marines in a slot of their own.
      Theo.
Has a marine story that would dampen an eye.

        • FOX is running a Frank Luntz special tonight, they just had Allen West on and wow!Did he knock it out of the park!

          • What a damn shame West isn’t running against the boy-king….he makes Romney look like the RINO he is.

            • According to the show of hands he would win in a landslide, even a bunch of the folks who voted for Obama last round agreed with him.

If I can find a link I’ll send it to you.
